Land Use

  1. Advise on engineering services, site development, land disturbance plans and contractor certification.
  2. Represent clients before city councils, boards of supervisors, planning and zoning commissions, redevelopment agencies, etc.
  3. Assist with obtaining building and zoning plan approvals and variances for development projects, large and small.
  4. Advise on subdivisions and parcel maps, building permits, development agreements, and compliance issues.
  5. Perform geotechnical studies and soils percolation and compaction studies.
  6. Advise on compliance with federal, state, county regulations and wetlands protection codes including Chesapeake Bay requirements and waivers.
  7. Advise on sewer/septic and alternative disposal systems.
  8. Obtain ingress/egress and disturbance permits from state highway agencies.
  9. Obtain governmental land use approvals, including joint public/private legislative redevelopment strategies, development agreements.
  10. Permit streamlining and expediting.
